Entech Executive Vice President, Matthew Lloyd, Announces Retirement

Wednesday, December 21, 2016

Reading, PA – After 32 years of service at Entech, Matthew Lloyd, Executive Vice President, publically announced his retirement, effective December 31, 2016.

Matt joined the company not long after the company was started by Tom McMahon and Bill McMahon in 1981. When Matt joined the fledgling company in 1985, Entech had about a dozen employees providing engineering consulting services to its customers. As the company grew over the years, so did Matt’s responsibilities.  He transitioned from a supporting role, to becoming a leader and a principal in the company, eventually becoming the company president. Today Entech has approximately 100 employees with 6 offices located throughout Pennsylvania.

Current President, Jeffrey Euclide, added:

“Over the years, Matt has certainly contributed greatly to our company in countless ways – so much so that, it makes it very difficult to point out a singular achievement over the years. His efforts and team spirit allowed our company to accomplish great things, and we continue to work with many of the institutions, industries, and municipalities with whom Matt laid the groundwork, some of whom have been clients for 20 to 30 years. Perhaps one of the most noteworthy clients Matt managed is the Architect of the Capitol, in Washington D.C. for which we’ve provided professional services since 2004.  We thank Matt for his dedication and services throughout the years. We wish him the best as he moves into the next chapter of his life, and I have personally been honored to work with him for such a long and successful time.”

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

After spending the past 32 years at Entech, working hand-in-hand with so many wonderful coworkers and clients alike, I am announcing my retirement effective December 31, 2016. Although this decision has undoubtedly been a bittersweet one for me, I am excited to move onto the next chapter of my life.

I wanted to thank all of my clients for all that they’ve done, for both Entech and me, over the years. I am truly honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and work with so many fine individuals and organizations throughout my career.

Organizationally, Lenette Wells, principal, will be assuming my leadership responsibilities within the facilities planning team. Under her guidance, coupled with our extraordinary team members, I have the utmost confidence that they will continue to provide you with the highest level of attention, service, and value that I always have strived to provide.

As for me, I will be spending more time with my parents, wife, children, and grandchildren. I will also be spending more time with the churches, as well as the non-profit organizations with which I am associated. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me at any time if there is anything I can do for you, or just if you want to say hello.

All the best to you, your organizations, and your families.

Matthew Lloyd
Executive Vice President | Entech Engineering, Inc.
