Sassaman Awarded the PWEA Walter A. Lyon Purity of Water Award

Reading, PA - Entech Engineering, Inc. (Entech) is pleased to announce that Michael Sassaman is the recipient of the 2016 Walter A. Lyon Purity of Water Award, which was presented by the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association (PWEA) at their annual conference.

This award, established in 2006, acknowledges the extraordinary personal service and the commitment to PWEA, as well as the protection of waters throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This award represents Michael’s contribution to the advancement of PWEA and water quality protection overall. Michael has been heavily involved the PWEA organization and has served as past president for the organization.

Entech’s Vice President and Civil/Environmental Resources Manager, Robert Weir, PE, said about Michael’s award:

“Michael is a very humble person, who tries to avoid any notoriety, but his incredible efforts within the PWEA and potable water / wastewater industries is impossible to ignore. That’s why he’s pretty much received every award out there, and no one is more deserving. Although they may not know it, everyone is the Commonwealth is in some small part indebted to him, and his commitment to our drinking water. We are very proud of Michael, and we’re honored to have him on our team!”
