Middlesex County College
As part of a comprehensive campus-wide Facility Condition Assessment for Middlesex County College, Entech performed detailed surveys of twenty-five buildings, totaling 697,000 square feet. The surveys represented a replacement value of $84.4 million, which comprised approximately 99% of the total floor area of Middlesex.
The assessment identified: a) Deferred Maintenance, b) Capital Improvement, and c) Capital Construction projects which should be scheduled for implementation within the next ten years.
In addition to these costs, Capital Construction and Campus Infrastructure costs were also identified and incorporated into a ten-year cost management plan. A customized database application was delivered to the college. The database will be used to track improvement projects and estimate projected maintenance costs.
