What is an Engineering Explorer Post?

The Entech Engineering Explorer Post is a great way for young boys and girls to find out first-hand what real engineers do, through hands-on activities and demonstrations, to decide if engineering is a career they may want to pursue.

Who can participate?

The Exploring program is open to students 14-20. Parents are also welcomed and encouraged to stay for meetings.

How often does the exploring post meet?

Our post meets monthly from November through May for 1.5 hours. Each meeting will cover a different facet of engineering, through hands-on actives, tours, discussions, and presentations. See the schedule below.

Where does the exploring post meet?

Meetings will be held at Entech’s corporate headquarters (201 Penn Street, Suite 300, Reading, PA 19601), unless otherwise noted. Get directions

Is there a cost?

Yes. Exploring is a branch of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). To participate in a post, you must be a member of the BSA, which costs $40. Entech Engineering does not charge any additional fees.
