Every spring, I train volunteers through the Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward program on the role of geology and soils in our watersheds, and have seen first-hand how important community involvement is in protecting our watersheds. With that in mind, I wanted to share the Berks Water Week activities as further opportunities to get involved.

Berks Water Week, hosted by the Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward program, will take place from August 3rd through August 10th, 2019. Events are scheduled throughout Berks County to help educate and raise awareness to protect our watersheds.
