Architect – Reading

Description:

Location: Reading, PA

We are currently looking to add to our growing team of dedicated professionals and we have an exciting opportunity for an Architect to work out of our corporate headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania.

We are seeking a professional with a minimum of 5 years of architectural experience including work with industrial new construction and existing building renovations. Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to take initiative on projects in a team environment.  Revit and Sketchup experience a plus.

Responsibilities will primarily include preparing architectural drawings and specifications to support our water and wastewater engineering projects as well as office and laboratory spaces. Additional responsibilities may include supporting our Facility Condition Assessment teams by conducting existing building surveys and preparing reports.  Overnight travel throughout the mid-Atlantic region may be required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a valid driver’s license are required to be considered for this position. Architectural licensure in Pennsylvania is preferred.

Architectural Facilities Analyst - Reading

Description:

We are currently looking to add to our growing team of dedicated professionals and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Analyst to work out of our corporate headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania.  

We are seeking a professional with a minimum 3 years of architectural experience in building surveying and documentation. Candidates must be proficient MS Office applications, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to take initiative on projects in a team environment.  Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Sketchup a plus.

Responsibilities will primarily include completing Facility Condition Assessments by conducting existing building surveys and preparing reports of building conditions and recommended corrective actions. Ability to support small design projects with architectural drafting is preferred. Overnight travel will be required for this position.  

A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Architectural Engineering or commensurate experience in Facilities Management, the ability to travel overnight (3-8 days per month) throughout the mid-Atlantic region, and a valid driver’s license are required to be considered for this position

Construction Observer - DuBois, PA

Description:

Location: DuBois, Pennsylvania

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction observer to work on a long term project for our client located in the DuBois, Pennsylvania area.  

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include regular interaction with property owners, contractors, clients, vendors, and engineers as well as observation and reporting on Contractor activities to ensure conformance to specifications.  

Knowledge & Experience:

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 3 years of construction observation experience on water & sewer infrastructure projects.  Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, specifications, and plans.  Effective written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, a current driver’s license, and the ability to travel on occasion are required to be considered for this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and work outdoors on uneven terrain
  • Ability to work in a field environment with exposure to dust, water, inclement weather conditions, extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
