Environmental Specialist

Description:

Location: Pottsville, PA

We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Specialist to work out of our office in Pottsville, PA.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Independently completing projects using technical and regulatory knowledge
  • Providing primary technical resources to project management staff
  • Preparing permit applications, plans, and reports
  • Participating in and/or leading the identification of new markets
  • Eligibility Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies or Engineering
  • 2-5 years of project related environmental/industrial experience 
  • Clear understanding and knowledge of state and federal air, water, waste and other related environmental/industrial regulations and laws.
  • Able to prepare comprehensive project records and technical reports.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, clients, vendors, consultants, and construction contractors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills demonstrated through technical and project reports, proposals, presentations, and client interaction.
  • Ability to travel locally 2-3 times a month and overnight on occasion 
  • Valid Driver’s License

Mechanical Engineer

Description:

Location: Reading, PA

We are seeking someone with at least 8 years of experience in HVAC and/or Central Utilities (specifically steam and chilled water) planning and design along with internal QA/QC. We are looking for strong leadership skills to bring together internal design teams for HVAC and Central Utilities portions of multi-disciplined design projects. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to mechanical system design, building simulation/energy modeling (preferably HAP or Trace), field survey, data analysis, and report writing.

A Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, active Pennsylvania PE license, advanced proficiency in Excel, working knowledge of MS Office, Revit MEP, and Auto CAD, excellent written and oral communication skills and a valid driver’s license are required to be considered for this position.  This is an excellent opportunity and a challenging position for an engineer seeking a wide variety of projects and clients.

Municipal Water/Wastewater Designer

Description:

Location:  Reading, PA

As a result of our continued growth, we currently have an immediate opportunity in our Reading, PA office for a designer to work with our Civil/Environmental Resources Group on a variety of Municipal Water/Wastewater projects.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Designing and preparing complete and accurate working plans, charts, scale drawings, and revisions for complex projects using skilled engineering drafting methods and procedures with the application of AutoCAD
  • Developing and interpreting process flow diagrams and P&IDs
  • Preparing and reviewing calculations to size and select specified equipment/material
  • Performing material take-offs and opinions of probable construction cost estimates
  • Preparing man hour estimates
  • Playing an active role as a technical liaison with clients
  • Contacting and interfacing with equipment vendors to obtain technical information, budget quotations, and catalog cuts
  • Periodic site visits to project construction sites for technical support of Project Manager
  • Participating in the training of junior level designers and drafters
  • Reviewing shop, vendor, and/or manufacturer drawings for compliance with contract documents
  • Coordinating and producing multi-discipline (architectural, structural, civil, process, electrical, etc.) project drawing sets
Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience performing all of the above responsibilities in the engineering and/or architectural industry.  

In addition, we are looking for someone with the following education and skills:

  • Associates degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental technical disciplines along with formal training in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD with an emphasis on 3D design software such as Plant 3D
  • Knowledge of Revit a plus
  • Working knowledge of windows based operating systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Third Party Equipment Selection Software
  • Effective written and oral communication skills  
  • Able to work independently and exercise good judgment, while working under strict time constraints 
A valid driver’s license is required to be considered for this position.

Proposal Manager

Description:

Location: Reading, PA

We are currently looking to add to our team of dedicated professionals. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proposal Manager to lead our proposal submission process.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Reviewing incoming RFP opportunities and facilitating go/no-go decisions with applicable team members.
  • Leading RFP responses by setting RFP response schedule, initiating proposal team meetings, and organizing the proposal team to deliver a quality proposal document.
  • Reviewing and modifying language of proposal responses to ensure Entech’s message and branding is incorporated.  
  • Editing and proofreading proposals.
  • Organizing proposal files and tracking/reporting monthly statistics.
  • Working collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure data for completed projects is recorded and stored.
  • Collecting project information from staff to create and update staff resumes. Determine the types of resumes needed and a system for storing/managing/creating them.
  • Tracking, preparing, and updating government pre-qualification forms and IDIQ submissions. 
  • Working with Marketing Communication Manager on graphic design requirements and implementation of consistent graphics in proposals and resumes.
  • Writing and editing content for marketing collateral, including blogs, flyers, ads, website, social media content, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience preparing clear and concise content and/or proposal submissions to meet marketing objectives, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced MS Office capabilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to learn complex technical services and translate the information into easily understood written content.
  • Self-starter able to collaborate with project management, business development, technical marketing, and administrative staff.
  • CRM and InDesign experience preferred.
