Entech & Employees Honored During PWEA’s 97th Annual Conference and Centennial Celebration

Reading, PA - Entech Engineering, Inc. (Entech) attended PennTec 2026, the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association’s (PWEA) 97th Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition, held June 15-17 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. This year’s conference carried special significance as PWEA celebrated its 100th Anniversary, marking a century of advancing water quality, environmental stewardship, and professional development throughout Pennsylvania.

The annual event brought together water and wastewater professionals from across the Commonwealth for technical education, networking opportunities, and recognition of outstanding contributions to the industry. During the conference’s Annual Awards Banquet, several Entech employees and the firm itself were recognized for their leadership, service, and commitment to the water environment profession.

Honors were presented to Entech team members for their contributions to the profession and the Association:

Natalie O’Connor received the High Hat Award, recognizing members who distinguish themselves by actively promoting the association and its programs by exceptional service and leadership within PWEA.

Tori Morgan, LO, was honored with the Roy F. Weston Award, which recognizes significant individual contributions in the field of industrial waste management.

Entech Engineering, Inc. was recognized with the Silver Hammer Award, which acknowledges outstanding stewardship in the water environment industry, recognizing individuals or businesses for responsible and sustainable design, construction, or management of water and wastewater facilities.

In recognition of their leadership during PWEA’s centennial year, Natalie O’Connor, Chair, and Kara Humes, were recognized with a Committee Excellence Award for their work on the Association’s 100th Anniversary Committee. Their efforts helped commemorate a century of service, innovation, and environmental stewardship across Pennsylvania.

In addition to these award recognitions, Entech professionals contributed to the conference’s technical program by leading six educational sessions. Presenters included Bryon Killian, Eric Moore, Natalie O’Connor, Tori Morgan, Kara Humes, Stacy Silva, Dale Miller and Ashley O’Connor who shared expertise on AI tools, industrial pretreatment, funding opportunities, fats, oils and grease (FOG) management, and water and sewer rate studies.
