Robert Weir, P.E. Named President of Entech Engineering

Reading, PA - Entech Engineering, Inc (Entech) is pleased to announce that Robert  Weir, P.E., has been named President of Entech Engineering.  Bob assumes the responsibilities of President on September 28, 2022, following the retirement of Jeffrey Euclide, P.E., CEM.

Beginning his career at Entech as a construction observer 24 years ago, Bob joined the leadership team as a Principal in 2008 and has served as Executive Vice President since 2016, as well as overseeing the Civil and Environmental Resources group. During his time at Entech, the company has grown from a few dozen employees in 1998 to 150+ employees in 2022.

Jeff Euclide, P.E., retiring Entech President commented,

“We are delighted to see Bob move into the role of President. During his tenure at Entech, he has worked his way through the organization and proven himself to be an adept and humble leader, earning the respect of the entire organization. Having served as Executive Vice President and working with me for many years, the leadership transition will be seamless as we undertake a strategic planning effort and begin a new and exciting chapter at Entech.”

On the announcement, Bob added:

About Robert Weir, P.E.
A registered professional engineer in PA, OH, NY and WV, Bob earned his associate degree in electrical engineering and bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA).

Away from the office, Bob has a love for the outdoors, where he enjoys steelhead fishing, kayaking, golfing, and riding motorcycles. He also has a soft spot for German shepherds.
