Overview
Oxford Area Sewer Authority’s wastewater treatment plant needed to renew its aging septage receiving station. The existing screening facility was installed in 1999 and was requiring constant maintenance. Limited access to the screening equipment and insufficient laboratory space made permitting and operations inefficient.
The plant currently receives about 30,000 gallons per day of septage, so reliability and workflow are crucial.
The project was supported by funding assistance secured through a PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) Local Share Account grant.
Solution Details
Entech modernized and reorganized the septage receiving area to improve access, throughput, and compliance including the following:

- Representative to verify conformance and document work.
Entech provided survey, permitting, bidding, services during construction and
construction observation.
