New Residence Hall & Parking Garage

Cabrini University Radnor, PA

Projects

Overview

To further Cabrini’s goal of enhancing student-centered living on campus, they demolished the former Lanshe House and constructed South Residence Hall in its place. The new facility provides group living spaces with lounges and open spaces both inside and outside, providing students with many community gathering options.

Working with lead architect, WRT, we provided HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical (power/emergency power, fire alarm, teledata, lighting) design for the new three-story 57,000 sq.ft. residence hall. The residence hall contains approximately 35 suites, each housing four students, a common space, toilet room, and shower room.

We also provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for a new parking garage and turnaround, including lighting and power design and underground gas line relocation.

The new three-level parking garage provides 130 parking spaces and an ADA compliant elevator.
